UBG New State finally reached out to Android users on Thursday morning. The game was supposed to be live at 9:30 am and was automatically downloaded from those who previously subscribed to it. However, Indian players are still unable to play it due to server issues. PUBG New State is a future war game set in 2051. Unlike the original PUBG game, New State is a mobile game only and cannot be played on PCs and consoles.
The game has been distributed worldwide in many countries, including India. Well, the Indian players are very happy about it because PUBG was banned last year. Although Krafton released Battlegrounds Mobile India (PUBG above or below with a new name), there were many who were looking forward to PUBG New State.
Unfortunately, once you have downloaded the game and started it, the app shows an error. It reads - ‘cannot connect to server’. The matter has been spotted by India Today Tech and a few Indian users have also reported it on Twitter. From now on, gamers can't get past this screen when the game says it is looking for an update.
Krafton admitted there was indeed a problem with its servers and the game was postponed for a few hours. This means you will be able to play the game at 11:30 p.m.
"Hello Survivors! Due to current server issues we decided to postpone the official launch of the game TWO Hours to 06:00 (UTC). We apologize for any inconvenience. Please see the official website for more details," the tweet. from PUBG New State's official Twitter handle he said.
Having said that, Krafton should have been a little more careful and ensured that users have trouble-free gaming experience.
For those yet to download PUBG New State, the game file is 1.71 GB in size. It can now be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Krafton stressed that the gun game and game weapons will be compatible with the PC version.
PUBG New State confirmed to have new map - Troi. This map will bring back one of Erangel's old green with deep city settings like large buildings and shopping malls. You can also expect new weapons and vehicles within the game.
